These terms apply to your use of pavitrarishtaindia.in and to the matchmaking services of Pavitra Rishta Matchmaking Services LLP (“Pavitra Rishta”, “we”, “us”), 174, C.R. Avenue, Shyam Market Building, 6th Floor, Kolkata 700007. By using the website or registering with us, you agree to them. Please read them before you register.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version on this page. Changes take effect when posted, and continuing to use the website or our services means you accept them.

Who can register

The person seeking a match must be of legal marriageable age under Indian law, and legally free to marry. A person who is divorced or widowed may register for second-marriage matchmaking.
Parents or relatives may register on behalf of a family member, but only with that person’s knowledge and agreement.
All information you give us, including age, education, occupation, income, family details, marital history, health information you choose to share, photographs and birth details, must be true and complete. We may decline or end a registration if we find it is not.

Our services

Pavitra Rishta offers personal, offline matchmaking for Marwari, Jain, Gujarati, Punjabi, Maheshwari and other communities in India and abroad. Every registered client is given a dedicated Relationship Manager, who shortlists profiles based on your requirements and preferences, speaks to the other family first, and helps arrange meetings between families.

Clients are given a weekly Service Day on which profiles are shared. If no profile is shared in a particular week, it means no suitable match was available that week. We share only what we think is genuinely relevant.

Packages

What you receive depends on the package you choose. The scope of each package (the reach of the search, the seniority of your matchmaker, personal visits by Saket Kejriwal or founder Sunil Kejriwal, and the other inclusions) is as described on our Packages page at the time you register, and in your registration documents. Each package includes everything in the package below it.

Families living outside India (NRI families) may choose the Elite or Signature package only.

Kundli matching

Unless you ask us not to, we match the kundli of every proposal before sharing it, using the Guna Milan score and a Manglik check.

Kundli matching relies on the date, time and place of birth that you and the other family provide. An incorrect birth time can change the result.
Kundli matching is a traditional practice. It helps families decide, but it is not a scientific test and does not guarantee the success of a marriage.
You may opt out of kundli matching at any time by telling your Relationship Manager.

Your responsibilities

Use other families’ profiles only to consider a match. Do not forward, publish or post another family’s biodata, photographs or contact details, and delete them once you have decided. Misuse may end your membership without refund and may lead to legal action by the affected family.
Treat every family you are introduced to with respect, during meetings and afterwards.
Tell your Relationship Manager promptly if your son or daughter gets engaged or married, or if you want to pause the search, so we can stop sharing the profile.

Membership and fees

Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of registration or activation of your profile, whichever is later. Services end when the 12 months are over, unless you renew.
Package fees are as published on our website at the time you register. GST is charged separately at the applicable rate.
All fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including if a match is not found, if you stop the search early, or if the person finds a match elsewhere.
Pay only to Pavitra Rishta Matchmaking Services LLP against an official invoice. We have one office, in Kolkata. If anyone asks you to pay elsewhere in our name, call us on +91 93303 22220 before paying.

Ending or pausing a membership

You may stop the search at any time by telling us in writing. We may suspend or end a membership, without refund, if a client gives false information, misuses another family’s profile, behaves abusively towards families or our staff, or breaches these terms in any other way.

Our role as facilitator

Pavitra Rishta acts only as a facilitator between families. Our role is to introduce suitable profiles and help arrange meetings. Every decision about a match is made by the families themselves, and is their responsibility.

We do not guarantee a match, and we are not responsible for the outcome of any meeting, interaction or alliance, or for any dispute, misrepresentation or loss arising from one.

Communications

By registering, you agree to receive calls, messages, WhatsApp messages and emails from us about your enquiry, membership and matches. You may stop promotional messages at any time by emailing profiles@pavitrarishtaindia.in or writing to us at our office. Service messages about an active membership will continue.

Intellectual property

The website’s design, text, photographs, layouts and the Pavitra Rishta name and logo belong to Pavitra Rishta or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute them without our written consent. Client logos shown on the website are the trademarks of their owners.

By sharing biodata, photographs and other material with us, you allow us to use it to provide our matchmaking service, including sharing it with suitable families.

Using the website

You agree to use the website lawfully and not to send spam or harmful content, interfere with how the website works, copy its content without permission, or harass or defame anyone. Links to other websites are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and our services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of information on the website.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Pavitra Rishta will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our services, including any loss arising from a meeting, alliance or relationship we helped to arrange. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the registration fee you paid.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pavitra Rishta, its partners, employees and agents against claims, losses and costs arising from your use of our services or website, your breach of these terms, your misuse of another family’s information, or a dispute arising from an alliance or meeting we facilitated.

Privacy

How we collect, use, share and protect your information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Your profile is shared only with families we consider suitable, as part of our service.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, both parties will first try to settle it between themselves. If that fails, it will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, held in Kolkata. Subject to this, the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, have exclusive jurisdiction. Any claim must be raised within one year of the date it arose.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest or government action.

Assignment. You may not transfer your membership or your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may assign our rights at our discretion.
