Our role as facilitator

Pavitra Rishta acts only as a facilitator between families seeking a marriage alliance. We introduce profiles we consider suitable and help arrange meetings. Every decision after an introduction is made by the families themselves, and is their responsibility. We are not responsible for any dispute, misrepresentation or problem arising from a meeting or alliance we helped arrange.

Profile information

Profile details are provided by the families themselves. Pavitra Rishta does not carry out background checks or verify the information families give us. Before an introduction, we speak to the other family and may share what we hear about them in the market or the community. That feedback is given in good faith and may be incomplete or wrong.

Therefore:

  • families should make their own enquiries before finalising any alliance
  • we are not responsible for false or incomplete information supplied by another family
  • any personal information families share directly with each other is shared at their own discretion and risk

Kundli matching

Kundli matching (Guna Milan and Manglik) is based on the birth details supplied by each family, and an incorrect birth time can change the result. It is a traditional practice offered to help families decide. It is not a scientific test and does not predict or guarantee the success, health or happiness of a marriage. Families who do not follow kundli may opt out.

No guarantee of a match

We do not guarantee a successful match. The outcome depends on many things outside our control, including each family’s preferences, decisions and timing. Fees are non-refundable whatever the outcome, as set out in our Terms.

Success stories and clients

Success stories, couple names and photographs are published with the permission of the couples and their families. Results differ from family to family, and a published story is not a promise of a similar result.

Client logos show businesses whose families have used our services. They are the trademarks of their owners and do not mean those companies endorse Pavitra Rishta.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pavitra Rishta Matchmaking Services LLP is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from:

  • your use of, or reliance on, information on this website
  • any meeting, interaction or alliance we helped arrange
  • any loss of data, money or opportunity connected with our services
  • any dispute between families arising from an introduction made by us
