In 2006, Sunil Kejriwal and Priyanka Kejriwal were looking for a match for their sister. They could not find a single matchmaker doing this work professionally. Seeing that gap, they started Pavitra Rishta in Kolkata.

Their aim was to make finding a match easy for families, with a blend of traditional values and a modern approach. Every year since 2006 they have kept uniting families.

A rishta is decided by two families, and families are best understood in conversation. So the first meeting is at our office in Kolkata, or on a video call if you live in another city or abroad. On the Premium and Elite packages, Saket Kejriwal visits your family personally, and on Signature, founder Sunil Kejriwal does.

We do not send bulk profiles. You see a few proposals that fit, each one already discussed with the other family. Your details are never shared without your permission.

Most of the families we serve are Marwari, Jain, Gujarati, Punjabi or Maheshwari, in Kolkata, in other Indian cities and in the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany and the rest of Europe. Our team speaks Hindi, English, Gujarati, Punjabi, Rajasthani and Marwari.

Alongside first marriages, we arrange second marriages for divorced, widowed and separated men and women, and handle private searches for high-profile and HNI families.

Every enquiry gets a call back within 24 hours. The first meeting with your family is then held at our Kolkata office or on a video call. After that, your Relationship Manager shortlists from suitable profiles, speaking to each other family before you see their biodata. When both sides approve, we arrange the meeting between the two families and follow up with each of them afterwards. Introductions continue until both families decide.

Membership is valid for 12 months, and every package includes a dedicated Relationship Manager. Families in India can choose any of our four packages, and NRI families living outside India can choose Elite or Signature. Our packages and their prices are published on this website, and fees are non-refundable, so we always suggest a detailed conversation before you register.

Our team works from the Kolkata office, Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm. Every member is trained to give each family personal and unbiased attention, and your Relationship Manager is your point of contact throughout the search.
