Pavitra Rishta Matchmaking Services LLP is an offline marriage bureau, based in Kolkata since 2006, that arranges matches for Jain families in India and abroad. We work with Digambar and Shwetambar families, including Murtipujak, Sthanakvasi and Terapanthi homes, and with Oswal, Porwal, Shrimal, Humad, Khandelwal and Agarwal Jain families. In a Jain match, food and religious practice matter as much as education and family background, so we ask about both at the first meeting. A Relationship Manager then shortlists from suitable profiles and speaks to the other family first. You see only the few proposals that fit, with biodata and photos. Nothing about your family is shared without your permission, and we stay involved until both families decide.

Food and observance first
Strict vegetarianism is a given. Many Jain families also keep further food practices, so we ask about yours before shortlisting anyone.
No bulk profile sharing
You will not receive a pile of biodatas. Your Relationship Manager shows you only the few families that fit.

Food, observance and daily life
A Jain home runs on certain practices, and a new bahu or jamai has to be comfortable with them from the first day. Strict vegetarianism is assumed in every Jain search. Beyond that, practices differ from family to family, so we ask about yours at the first meeting and ask the other family the same questions.

First meeting
We meet your family at our Kolkata office, or on a video call if you live elsewhere. On the Premium and Elite packages, Saket Kejriwal visits your family personally, and on Signature, founder Sunil Kejriwal does. The conversation covers your sect, your food practices and religious observance along with education and family background.
The shortlist
Your Relationship Manager shortlists from suitable Jain profiles and speaks to the other family first, including about their practices. You see only the few that fit, with biodata and photos.
Family meeting
When both sides approve, we arrange the meeting between the families and follow up with both afterwards.
Until a decision

Jain matchmaking: questions families ask
Do you find matches for Digambar and Shwetambar Jain families?
Yes. Pavitra Rishta works with Digambar Jain families and with Shwetambar families, including Murtipujak, Sthanakvasi and Terapanthi homes. Your sect is noted at the first meeting and the search starts within it. If your family is open to a match from the other sect, tell your Relationship Manager. A cross-sect proposal is shown only when both families have agreed to consider one.
Will you check that the other family follows the same Jain food practices?
Yes. Pavitra Rishta treats food and religious practice as a core part of every Jain search. Strict vegetarianism is assumed, and many families follow further practices that differ from home to home. Your Relationship Manager asks about yours at the first meeting and asks the other family the same questions before a proposal reaches you.
Which Jain sub-communities do you work with?
Pavitra Rishta works with Oswal, Porwal, Shrimal, Humad, Khandelwal and Agarwal Jain families, within both the Digambar and Shwetambar sects. If your sub-community is not on this list, call +91 93303 22220. We work with all Jain families, in Kolkata, across India and in the NRI community abroad.
Can you find a Jain match for our son or daughter living abroad?
Yes. Pavitra Rishta matches Jain NRIs in the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany and the rest of Europe. We can look for a family in India or for someone already settled abroad. The first meeting happens on video call, and the same questions about sect, food and observance are asked of every family.
Is a Jain matrimony website enough, or do we need a marriage bureau?
A matrimony website lets you search profiles on your own, and it cannot tell you how a family actually lives. Pavitra Rishta is an offline marriage bureau. Your Relationship Manager meets your family, speaks to the other family first about sect, food and observance, and shows you only the few suitable proposals that fit. Bulk profiles are never sent.
Will our family's details be kept private?
Yes. Pavitra Rishta never shares your biodata, photos or contact details with another family without your permission, at any stage. Profiles are shown one family at a time, and only after the Relationship Manager has spoken to both sides. This matters to many Jain business families, and it has been how we work since 2006.
