Pavitra Rishta is an offline, personal marriage bureau founded in Kolkata in 2006 by Sunil Kejriwal and Priyanka Kejriwal. For Indian families living in the Netherlands, we search for a son's or daughter's match among Marwari, Jain, Gujarati, Punjabi and Maheshwari families in Europe and in India. Many young Indians moved to the Netherlands on a highly skilled migrant permit to work in technology, finance or engineering, and live around Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Eindhoven, Rotterdam or The Hague. Their parents are often in India. The first meeting is on a video call, timed to suit both countries. Indian families in the Netherlands

Amstelveen, just south of Amsterdam, is well known for its Indian residents, many of them in IT and consulting. Eindhoven draws engineers to its technology companies, and Rotterdam and The Hague have their own Indian professionals. Most of these families are first generation, with children who grew up partly in India.

The usual questions are practical. Will the couple stay in the Netherlands or return to India, does the boy or girl hold a skilled migrant permit or permanent residence, and is the family open to a partner moving to Europe.
